Hotel De Verdun 1882, BW Signature Collection is located in central Lyon on the Presqu’Ile, 450 metres from the Lyon Perrache TGV Train Station. Great location, plenty of places to eat breakfast or lunch in a 5 minute distance. The hotel was very clean, nice bathroom, good water pressure. Room was silent at night, comfy beds and electric tea kettle (black and herbal tea, plus instant coffee provided). They also give you a bottle of filtered water every day. The place looked recently renovated, and the the decor was tasteful. Well lit spacious elevator, hand sanitizer on each floor, all staff wear masks.

We enjoyed both the dinner with traditional local food and breakfast. The place offers a wide range of activities (swimming pool, minigolf, a wine museum, walking paths and more), which makes a good idea to spend there two/three nights. They also sell their own wine.

Villa Florentine is located in the heart of Old Lyon with panoramic views of the city. This former convent offers elegant guest rooms, a 24-hour reception and free WiFi throughout. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Being a smaller hotel it felt very calm and we had no problem securing a lounger around the pool area. The staff speak very good English and are very attentive. They made our stay very special.
